Christ Church Manchester are baptising yet again. Join us for dunking, celebrating and food! Oh yes!

At Christ Church Manchester we love baptisms. We get to celebrate more people giving their lives to Jesus Christ, to following his ways and living in relationship with Him.

I don’t know about you, but there aren’t many things as uplifting, spirit filling and faith giving as seeing others give their lives to Jesus and get dunked in the process. It is a time of great celebration, a time to pray for their coming lives and, seeing as we are CCM, a time to eat together, because as we all know, it wouldn’t be a CCM meeting without some blummin good grub!!

Join us on Saturday 29th April at 11:00 AM at Kingsburn Hall in Burnage to celebrate the baptisms of a few of our CCM members from a variety of sites.

Afterwards, we will have a bring and share lunch to revel in the joys of food and baptisms. As we are meeting Church-wide, there will be a little structure to the bring and share, otherwise, we’ll all be eating Pringles, and while that’s all well and good, even Pringles get boring on their own!

So…

If you are coming from City, could you please bring some savoury sensations. Sausage rolls are definitely a winner, sandwiches are always good and cold pizza is never a bad thing (but please, please, please make sure you cook it before you come).

If you are coming from Withington or Kingsway, then sweet stuff is your responsibility. Cakes, chocolate, all the wondrous pudding food types that you can think of.

If you are from Gorton, then please bring some drinks with you for us all to share. Coke, squash, juice etc. I’m sure you get the idea.

This is set to be an incredible celebration of people giving their lives to Jesus. So please come and join us with happy hearts and empty stomachs!
